Recoat Stix Flex ensures optimal adhesion, seals the substrate, restores colours and is ideal for preparation of leather, skai, rubber and soft closed plastics.
Recoat Stix Flex is an adhesion promotor and sealer in one , ensures the coating system is closed, and enhances the optical finish. Recoat Stix Flex is suitable for practically all flexible substrates, as well internal as external. Recoat Stix Flex must always be topcoated with a finish coat.
Recoat Stix Flex preferably is applied with a microfibre cloth. This prevents splashes and spilling material.
Application by roller or brush is possible as well.
Recoat Stix Flex reduces consumption of the finish coat and delivers an optimal end result.
Avoid working in direct sunlight, in connection with the fast curing capabilities.
When using Recoat AM Protector® Flex pre-treat the surface with Recoat Stix Flex for optimal adhesion and minimal consumption of the Recoat AM Protector® Flex.
CAUTION: Recoat Stix Flex cannot be used on fabrics
Recoat Stix Flex is suitable on leather, skai, soft closed plastics as handrails and handles.
Recoat Stix Flex dries very quickly (ca. 15min.) enabling to apply the topcoat at very short notice.
Clean the substrate with Recoat Cleaner (see TDS).
Divide Recoat Stix Flex evenly over the substrate, rub gently, do not polish. Drying time appr. 15 minutes. Then finish with Recoat AM Protector® Flex.
User advice: preferably use a microfibre cloth for application.
After use store the microfibre cloth in a seal bag or airtight packing, to prevent the cloth from drying out. This will enhance the lifetime of the cloth.
