Description

Recoat Stainless Steel Protector is a highly durable, water-based, non-yellowing, silk gloss 2k coating.

The coating is suitable for protecting stainless steel and aluminum surfaces with high human traffic, fot indoor and outdoor use. Recoat Stainless Steel Protector is resistant to skin oils. By protecting the surface with Stainless Steel Protector, fingerprints become less of an issue and there is less adhesion of dirt. This reduces the frequency of cleaning required.

Recoat Stainless Steel Protector has excellent adhesion, flow, high efficiency, and is very tough, scratch-resistant, and wear-resistant. The coating has a silk gloss appearance and is only available in a transparent form.

Always use Recoat Stix for pretreatment.

Application area

Recoat Stainless Steel Protector is suitable for all metal surfaces where keeping them clean is a challenge.

It is recommended to always perform a test on the relevant surface first.

Examples of surfaces where it can be used include elevators, doors, control panels, escalators, extractor hoods, industrial kitchens, hand dryers, soap dispensers, and more.

10 : 1 (Recoat base : Recoat hardener). Stir base mechanical before adding hardener for 1 minute. Mix base and hardener mechanical (min 3 min.) without adding water. Then add 20% water and mix again for 3 minutes.

Approx. 12 m2 – 16 m2 / set Is practical per set of applied product. The output depends on the application method, roughness, structure and porosity of the substrate.

Application

Transport

Temperature during storage, transport and application minimum 5° C and maximum 30°C at a relative humidity of Maximum 85%
Thinning

Water 15% First properly mix the base and the hardener mechanical (min. 3 min.). Then add water and mix again.
Storage stability

A maximum of 24 months in case of dry storage and a temperature of 5°C to 30°C., Hardener for a maximum of 12 months in case of dry storage and a temperature of 5°C to 30°C
Maintenance

Do not clean with alcoholic cleaning agents
