Concrete substrates require pre-treatment before a high-quality coating system can be applied. Recoat Etching Cleaner is an etching and cleaning solution for compacted concrete substrates to improve adhesion and penetration of the coatings. If the concrete has no heavy oil contamination, the Recoat Etching cleaner ensures applying both cleaning and profiling in one operation.
Recoat Etching Cleaner eliminates the curing compound and formwork oil and it roughens the substrate slightly, creating optimum adhesion.
Application area
Recoat Etching Cleaner can be applied on prefab concrete constructions, prefab gallery floors, tile floors and garage floors.
Do not apply the Etching Cleaner on concrete that has already been coloured, sealed or coated.
