Evaluation of the substrate is very important. The substrate must be clean, dry, and have good load-bearing capacity, free from green deposits, oil, and grease, among other things.
– Pre-cast concrete substrates must first be treated with Recoat Etching Cleaner (see TDS). For untreated and highly absorbent substrates, depending on the absorption, the primer should be strongly diluted (20-30%) with water.
– Ceramic substrates must first be cleaned with a scouring pad in combination with Recoat Floor Cleaner (see TDS), and then moistened with Bonding Agent (see TDS).
– Recoat Multi Primer Plus reduces consumption and ensures optimal performance of the final product. Apply the product as a “normal” water-based paint; apply, spread, and leave it alone.
Avoid working in the sun due to too fast drying.
Ensure adequate ventilation, as this accelerates the drying process.
Never apply Recoat products undiluted.
It is recommended to always make a test patch.
Apply the Recoat Etching Cleaner evenly to the concrete. Scrub the concrete with a stiff brush, sanding cloth or sanding pad and make sure that the concrete stays wet.
After 5 minutes, rinse away the Recoat Etching Cleaner with the dirt with clean water and let the concrete dry. For the best result, work in sections of 3 x 3 meters.
Rinse the entire surface again with water after all parts have been treated with Recoat Etching Cleaner.
After drying, no powder should be left behind, otherwise repeat the treatment.
Apply the remover or remover gel with a brush or cloth, allow 3 minutes to solve the graffiti, then remove the remover with the graffiti. We advise to remove Graffiti within one week. For older or heavier graffiti the treatment may have to be repeated.
First apply the remover gel, after 3 minutes remove the gel with a (paper) towel or cloth. Then give the area a final wipe with the standard remover on a cloth or a graffiti wipe. In this way no substance will be absorbed in the ground and the cleaning materials can be disposed of as chemical waste.
Dilute Recoat Bonding Agent standard 1:1 with water. Apply Recoat Bonding Agent evenly over the surface with a cleaning mop and then allow to dry.
Remove lose dust/grit with a vacuum cleaner, floor mop or other dry cleaning method.
Pretreatment before coating:
Depending on the level of contamination the Recoat Floor Cleaner can be diluted from 1:5 (standard) for normal cleaning, to 1:2 (1 litre cleaner to 2 litres of water) for deep cleaning.
Apply the diluted Recoat Floor Cleaner on a section of the floor by spray or mop.
Leave the solution on the substrate for 3-5 minutes to solve the embedded contamination. Scrub the treated section with a polishing machine or auto scrubber equipped with a white or red pad and remove all the dissolved contamination. When the entire floor is cleaned like this make one more overall run with the auto scrubber holding only clean water in the tank making sure to remove all cleaning residues.
Note: keep the quantity of water used for cleaning to a minimum. Be aware of large openings/crevices in the floor. Do not allow excessive amounts of cleaning solution in to run in the openings/crevices .
Note: when using the Recoat Floor Cleaner in high concentrations allow 2-3 hours drying time before using the floor.
For regular floor cleaning:
Dilute Floor Cleaner 1:50 to 1:100
Assessment of the surface is very important. The surface must clean, dry and free of grease, oil and other contaminants.
– First clean prefab concrete with the Recoat Etching Cleaner (see-TDS). For untreated and highly absorbent substrates depending on the suction, dilute the primer strongly (20-50%) with water.
– First clean ceramic surfaces with a sanding cloth in combination with the Recoat Bonding Cleaner (see TDS).
– First clean plastic surfaces with a sanding cloth in combination with the Recoat Cleaner.
– Metal (closed) surfaces first clean a sanding cloth in combination with the Recoat Bonding Cleaner (see TDS).

Recoat Multi Primer reduces consumption and ensures optimum performance of the end product. Apply product as a “normal” waterborne paint; applying, distributing and holding off. Avoid working in the sun because of too fast drying.
Never apply Recoat products undiluted.
Advice to always make a test surface.
Recoat Roof Stix is an innovative product designed for the efficient treatment of roofs. It provides excellent insulation and adhesion when applied correctly. Paying attention to the substrate is crucial for the best results.
Substrate Preparation: A thorough assessment of the substrate is essential for successful application. Ensure that the surface is:
Prior to application, we recommend thoroughly vacuuming the roof after cleaning. This ensures that all fine dust is removed from the pores, contributing to optimal adhesion of the product.
Application Instructions:
Important Warning: Applying too thick layers may prevent the product from drying quickly enough, resulting in poor adhesion and insulation.
Application Advice:
With Recoat Roof Stix, you can be assured of a durable and effective treatment for your roof. Ensure proper preparation and follow our instructions for the best results.
The substrate must be completely clean, dry and free of grease and other contaminants. Assessment of the substrate is very important. Before applying first properly mix the coating because of the sagging matt paste.
Apply the coating with a microfibre roller. Absorbent substrates must be treated twice. Thin the first layer with 5-10% of water and apply the second layer without thinning the coating. Try to apply a proper layer thickness of the coating and check this with a layer thickness comb. Always use the wet-on-wet approach. Never apply recoat products undiluted. Always pre-treat plastic surfaces with Recoat Multi Pirmer in connection with plasticizers.

Assessment of the Substrate
A proper assessment of the substrate is essential for a successful result. Ensure that the substrate is clean, dry, and load-bearing. It must be free from green growth, moss, oil, grease, salts, and other contaminants.
Pre-Treatment of the Substrate
Pre-treat the substrate with Recoat Roof Stix. This primer ensures optimal adhesion of the Recoat Roof coating.
Application of Recoat Roof
After the primer has dried, which takes approximately one hour, you can apply Recoat Roof. This can be done using either a roller or an airless spray system.
Product Preparation
Before use, the product should be mechanically stirred. It is advisable to apply the entire system in one day. This prevents cleaning work between layers.

Recoat Matt is a clear, waterborne matte coating wich is suitable for a various substrates for inside and outside use.
Recoat Matt has excellent adhesive properties. After proper pre-treatment (depending on the substrate), the original colour will become visible and a permanent, transparent protective layer with a high surface tension will form.
The coating thereby protects against persistent weather effects and dirt adhesion, and is, as such, very easy to clean. In addition, Recoat products are highly resistant to chemicals and extremely resistant to skin fats.
Recoat Matt can be applied to many types of synthetics, aluminium (coated or untreated) and facade cladding.
It can also be applied to all metals and polyester substrates.
Recoat Matt is extremely suitable as a protective layer for indoor coats of paints.
It is recommended to always apply a test area.
Recoat products are applicable in many sectors, including real estate, infrastructure engineering and civil engineering.
Due to its simplicity, the Recoat system is a sustainable and less expensive alternative for the maintenance of many types of substrates.
